Swades Creations came into existence due to our love for our nation, India.
India is a land of great craftsmanship and heritage. We honour the work of the craftsmen and artisans all around the country. We are making an attempt to showcase India's rich art and craft to the world. Our endeavour also hopes to help the artisans to earn their livelihood.
Our products are unique, elegant, of the best quality and reasonably priced. We also help NGOs and many self help groups to sell their livelihood products through us. We take pride in working with weavers and artists across the country and bring their weaves and crafts in most contemporary forms. We are also happy to say that majority of our designs and styles never gets repeated and each one is exclusive in its own way.
The focus at Swades Creations has always been on women and utilizing their potential and skills. Our artisans, employees and customers are comprising around 85% women. We firmly believe if we empower one women per family it will lead to a more developed India.

In addition to the tremendous love for India and its rich cultural heritage, one other aspect that added air to the already ignited fire in Parul`s heart was the lack of availability of good quality unique Indian weaves in Indian market at a reasonable price. The younger generation was slowly moving away from their culture and rich heritage very much when it came to what they chose to wear. That’s when she decided to take things in her hands and do something about it.
With more than 14 plus years of corporate experience in various industries, across cultures and various roles - the last one being as a Country Manager for an American MNC, she decided to take this plunge, explore and give wings to her passion and thoughts. The decision to build up Swades Creations possibly was taken more by her heart than any logic.
The humble beginnings were with only dupattas and stoles in pure silk coupled with exhibitions at various college campuses. The curiosity of younger generation to understand various weaves and art forms gave the confidence that we are on the right path.
Gradually the range got added and today the portfolio is much wider and deeper. We have come so far that we are being noticed and appreciated by all age groups.
